CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANTS FOR THE YEARLY AUDITED FINANCIAL STATEMENTS- The City of Homer is seeking qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for the fiscal years ended December 2010 through 2012.  These audits are to be performed in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards. Proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to audit its financial statements for fiscal years ended December 2010 through 2012 will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Homer, 491 East Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska, until 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 17, 2010. The time of receipt will be determined by the City Clerk’s time stamp. ENERGY AUDIT/ENERGY PERFORMANCE CONTRACTING SERVICES VARIOUS PUBLIC BUILDINGS AND FACILITIES- Proposals for completing energy audits and constructing/installing energy efficiency improvements will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Homer, 491 E. Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska 99603 until 4:30 p.m., Thursday, June 24, 2010.  The time of receipt will be determined by the City Clerk’s time stamp.  Proposals received after the time fixed for the receipt of the bids shall not be considered. Bidders are required to be on the Plan Holders List to have their proposals evaluated by the selection committee. LIVE FIRE TRAINING TRAILER - Proposals for constructing and delivering the Live-Fire Training Trailer will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, City Hall, City of Homer, 491 E. Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska 99603 until 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2010.  The time of receipt will be determined by the City Clerk’s time stamp.  Proposals received after the time fixed for the receipt of the bids shall not be considered. The project consists of constructing a full-size mobile live-fire training trailer in which the fire department can conduct live, class A fuel fires and other assorted training evolutions required of the NFPA 1001 Firefighter I and Firefighter II training programs.

LEASE CITY PROPERTY ON THE HOMER SPIT - The City of Homer, Alaska is hereby advertising for sealed proposals and statements of qualifications from individuals or firms to lease one or more of the following parcels, All Lots Offered Separately:

·         Lot 9A, 10A Homer Spit Replat 2006, located on Fish Dock Road

·         Lot 19, 20 Homer Spit Subdivision, No. 5, located on Freight Dock Road

·         Lot 12A Homer Spit Amended, located on corner of Homer Spit Road & Freight Dock Road, Two - 250 sq ft parcels (16’x16’) for short term lease (1 to 2 years) for small businesses

Responses to the City's request for proposals will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 491 East Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska 99603, until 2:00 p.m., June 11, 2010 at which time they will be logged in and provided to the City Lease Committee.
